Taught a pri 2 maths and english class combination class at the YCk branch. Though there are a bunch a 8 cute and adorable little kids, however 2 of them can be a nightmare to teach though, especially since 1 of them is hyperactive.
I had to raise my voice quite a bit. Now I know that I cannot appear overly nice to them. If not, they will take advantage of me. I've learn my lesson, never to repeat the same mistake.
Was supposed to relief teach another P3 maths and english combination class in the afternoon but cancelled it because I wanted to go to my bf's house to join in the mahjong session. I also felt bad since I had promised him earlier that I will spend the entire day with him right after his exams and I have to keep my promise. (But I had previously thought that their mahjong session will start later at night, didn't expect it to start so early in the morning, so I promised my supervisor that I will help her relief the classes).
I don't think I'll ever master the game of mahjong that soon though. Mahjong definitely is not the easiest game to learn since there's so many rules and I have enough of rules. I had to leave at 5pm to attend my maternal grandma's birthday celebration although I would want to stay a bit longer because I have just started on my 2nd round of 'tutorial lesson'. However, it's also good that I left earlier because I can sense that his friends are getting impatient with me (1 of them started reading the newspaper) since I'm taking such a long time at each turn. Anyway, I don't even know whether I'm going to win even if I possess the winning tiles. sigh.
I caused my family to be late for my grandma's 70th birthday celebration. oops. My uncle invited all my relatives including my distant relatives and the relatives of my uncles and aunts along. Had to suffice with a vegetarian buffet dinner because we had to accomodate a cousin's family since they are vegetarian. The food isn't that nice though and I don't know how to appreciate vegetarian food anyway.
