Taught 3 classes continuously today. Didn't have time for lunch. Think it's ok. Need to shed some kilos anyway after eating so much on Friday, Fish and Co plus yummy donuts from Donuts Factory before that.
The classes today were a breeze. I was able to command their respect for me and capture their attention. This makes me feel that I can mastered the art of teaching. I knew now when to put on a strict front and when to look a bit more amenable to the students such that they do not take advantage of me. So, teaching is an art that comes with practice. And the many classes that I have relieved so far has allowed me to gain some invaluable experience in teaching. I know how to deal with different types of students now. Every one has their own strengths and weaknesses and I cannot afford to appear biased against or biased towards anyone. It certainly isn't easy a realization. Perhaps I shouldn't have rejected my teaching scholarship a few months back. I have rejected because I didn't want to read a teaching subject and I didn't think that teaching will be the career for me. However, I did not regret the decision made as yet because the current subjects I'm reading now promises a career that's filled with excitement, albeit the intense competition. But that what's makes my life worthwhile, especially since I'm already so used to competition (pri, sec and jc and now uni)...I'll definitely climb up the to the position of the chief financial officer (CFO) or the financial planner before I retire.This I promise to myself, albeit in a fair and responsible manner. I miss the requirement for summa cum laude by 0.5 of my GPA. Aargh. Well try harder next term loh. Hopefully I get all As back.
