Econs project

I think I've learnt a lot from my econs project. My group has changed our topics three times because we couldn't find athg exciting in the previous 2 topics although we have put in a lot of effort into the research of the first 2 topics on reverse mortgage and fourth uni. However after going through many consultations with the prof, did we realize that what he wanted was simply a problem and for us to come up with a solution that could add value to the society. We had only 1 week left when I thought of the new topic on solving the problem of inefficient allocation of resources. However that did not deter us from embarking on this topic if it's an 'exciting' topic. It's better than to continue with the previous topic on fourth uni even though we have found a lot of info on it and even did some survey. Because that wasn't what the prof wanted to see..stuff that everyone could have read.

With determination and newfound enthusiasm, we went ahead with the new topic even though one classmate has commented 'are u sure you have time to change the topic' a week ago. 'It's ok', that's my reply because I know we could do it. I have faith in my group. We decided to change our approach to our project. Instead of starting out with econs concepts in our brains, we began with identifying the problem and comparing it with the customs in China (without using any econs concept). This is to make our project more exciting. After we have come up with the perfect solution, we use econs concept to provide explanation and support to our issue. In the end, it was a success. We came up with a model, and most of the effort goes to one of the econs expert in my group.

I believe that the diversity in my group, we have people from econs, accountancy and social science. That's why we were able to see things from different perspectives and to apply them to our project. I contributed mainly using common sense while another team mate contributed using econs concept. I believe that this project has bonded our group because we were the only group who did 'three projects'. Haha. We definitely learnt a lot through this project and I have grown a lot from it.

I've learn perserverance and the 'never say die' attitude. Still rmb a group mate who kept saying 'cui lah' throughout the project. But in the end, group 8 isn't as 'cui lah' as it was deemed to be. We made it in the end, all thanks to everybody's effort, especially the econs expert(shan't name him here cos I want to remain anonymous...Haha).

Well, I acted in another skit again. I think probably I could save all the skits I've acted in and include them inside my portfolio. Perhaps, one day after I graduate, I could take a look at them again and recall how dramatic I was in my schooling years.

A pity I didn't record down all the skits I've acted in so far. At least 16 skits so far. What an accomplishment! k..enough of my boasting. But honestly, I can be very expressive, my expressions and my voice and all that...lol .Talent scout me for the talent search k. Lol.
